Just curious as to how I can add a banner advert below the sidebar, i.e not in a custom box?

As an example, I'm currently adding PayPal donate buttons to all my pages, this works fine on my site wide pages, but in Threads I cant quite figure out how to do it.

Basically, this is what I would like it to look like....

I'm still a total noob when it comes to php, so I have no idea where to add it?

Any help? (btw, Im using SidebarPal 2.2 )

You could add it above the </td> in the sidebar_rightclose.tmpl and sidebar_leftclose.tmpl. Templates aren't PHP - just standard HTML, so you should be able to use whatever code you want in there.

Tried editing leftclose.tmpl. The button works, but its not appearing under the sidebar? It appears under the categories instead

Cool - my brain was goofy in thinking that it was the 'close' template for both. Forgot that the one side would be in the open template.
